EATING YOGURT MAY REDUCE RISK OF DIABETES




Eating yogurt four or five times a week may lower the risk for developing Type 2 diabetes, a new study has found. Researchers in the United Kingdom looked at the diets of 4,000 people and followed them for 11 years. They found that people with the highest yogurt consumption had a 24 percent lower risk of developing diabetes, compared with people who didn't eat yogurt.
