PLANT-BASED DIETS SUBSTANTIALLY LOWER OUR RISK OF DEVELOPING TYPE 2 DIABETES, NEW HARVARD STUDY SAYS




Plant-based diets substantially lower our risk of developing type 2 diabetes, according to a new study from Harvard University’s, T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Previous studies found that vegetarian diets improve our health, including reducing our risk of developing type 2 diabetes. But this latest research included the health benefits of a vegetarian diet — while comparing plant-based diets with less healthy ones.
